My old HD 4670 display card ran perfectly ok in Windows 10 version 1511. But after the PC has been updated to Windows 10 version 1607, the same display driver 8.970.100.9001 fails to work. Device Manager shows an exclamation mark at the display adaptor.I tried uninstall the display driver and had Windows Update installed the display driver again but it said failed to install. Upon examination, the driver is actually installed but failed to start. Device Managers shows again an exclamation mark at the displayadaptor.Grateful please advise:1. Does AMD display driver 8.970.100.9001 work under Windows 10 version 1607?2. If the current version the of display driver supports Windows 10 version 1607, how to get the display driver work in my case?3.

However, there is no AMD HD 4670 driver setup file for the display driver 8.970.100.9001. Hi KJ,The SiS graphics chip on board can support 1280x960 while the AMD 4670 card with 1GB memory can support 1680x1050.I have checked the bios and there isn't an option to disable the onboad graphics chip. Yet I think the onboard graphics chip has been disabled when there is an add-on graphics card.There is no other hidden video display adaptor in Device Manager, only one showing up, i.e. 'ATI Radeon HD 4600 series'.On the display setting, only 1 display is being shown. 1023 MB ram in the display card property.My motherboard is old.
It is 661FX-M7 (V1.2A) for your help. I have the same issue with an ATI Radeon HD 4200. Device Manager says that the driver needs to be installed. When I asked it to install it, it says that it is installed. Obviously, it is not installed or the card would work.
I don't know where to lookto find the actual driver in order to follow the recommendation to reinstall it using compatibility mode. As with everyone else, following the website information states that it will be updated from a Windows Update for driver 8.970.100.9001. Any other suggestionson how to get this video card to work? I'm having a similar problem with my recent Nov 23, 2017 update to the 1709 version of Windows 10.The update removed the ATI Radeon HD 4600 driver that was previously installed and working great, replacing it with a generic Microsoft driver that makes circles into ovals and squares into rectangles -hideous. The update also removed my earlier 'systemrestore' points making it more difficult to revert to the previous version of Windows 10 that was working properly. The AMD display adapter driver update website says the latest driver for the ATI Radeon 46xx series is supposed to be included in the Windows10 updates.
I hope Microsoft fixes this soon in another update.
Hd 4350 Drivers
Hello everyone!Yesterday I've installed Windows 8.1 on my PC everything went fine until I didn't reached the part when I have to install the graphics driver. I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4300 Series card, but I totally unable to find a driver what works with windows 8.1. I know that the card is compatible with this OS but there is no driver for HD4300 series+windows 8.1, I spent hours with searching for one but sadly I could not found a working one. Also the 'AMD AutoDetect' can not identify my OS.

In the device manager under the Grapihics Cards I can find the following: 'ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4300 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1)' I tried to uninstall this driver then install AMD's but no luck.
